Darts is a sport played between individuals, who take turns attempting to throw small, pointed missiles, or darts, so that they land on a dartboard. The dartboard is placed 2.4 meters from the players and 1.7 meters above the ground. Players get points based on which of the twenty sections on the dartboard their darts land in. Each player gets three throws per turn. The winner of a darts game is the first to reduce their starting score (usually set at 501) to zero.
